Bioethanolshop only supplies the very best quality bioethanol, because we developed our own Kieselgreen Bioethanol 96.6%. Therefore, it is (still) subject to various quality tests. Because of this, we can always guarantee the best quality.

Kieselgreen 96.6% pure bioethanol is available from bioethanolshop in 1 liter, 5 liter, 10 liter & 1000 liter IBC! other quantities are also available on request.

Explanation of Kieselgreen Bioethanol 96.6%:

Producing Kieselgreen bioethanol with a purity of 96.6% alcohol is done through two processes. First, fermentation takes place, followed by distillation. To obtain 100% alcohol, a further process must be gone through. This third process is called absolution. The quality of bioethanol varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. The achievable percentage depends on the manufacturing process and even more on the raw materials. On the market, bioethanol often appears that is made from moldy and contaminated raw materials, containing by-products or residues such as acetone. In industry, these products are often used because there is a need for products with different alcohol percentages. However, this is not the case with fireplaces and furnaces. Here a pure product ensures a nicer, healthier and better combustion. So here it is important for the fuel to be as pure as possible. Our bioethanol supplier therefore uses high quality European vegetable raw materials for the production processes and thus guarantees a pure and high quality product. Thus, with our 96.6% Kieselgreen bio-ethanol we supply a product of very good quality, and with our bio-ethanol with an alcohol percentage of no less than 100% it is even an outstanding product!

Explanation about bio-ethanol:

Atmospheric fireplace bioethanol is always denatured. This denaturing involves making the ethanol unusable for human consumption. This is done by adding a minimal amount of "bitter substances" to the ethanol. If this is not added, so-called excise tax must be paid on the fuel just like alcoholic beverages.

Percentage description:

There are general rules in science / chemistry to indicate the percentage or value, for example, of alcohol. If a hundred percent ethanol is made one must accurately state this value (this means no more water is included in the product), it does not matter if an additive (such as MEK or Bitrex) is added AFTER. This is because the additives do not change the properties of the material - such as flammability, density, mass, freezing, etc. -and is thus irrelevant and unproven. Using or stating a different percentage can cause confusion for the user or, in the worst case, even cause accidents. The situation is different when water is added or still present. Water is in fact the product, which affects the properties of ethanol. 96.6% ethanol, for example means nothing more than the liquid contains 96.6% ethanol and 3.4% water. The freezing point of e.g. -111 C is shifted further and further upward with a sinking percentage of ethanol. For example, the freezing point of 50% ethanol (i.e., 50% ethanol and 50% water) is at -32C. The situation is similar with flammability: If the alcohol percentage is still only 30% (examples), therefore 70% water is present in the liquid, and one cannot ignite it. Whether there are additives in it or not. Relevant is the water content in ethanol to determine the percentage.

Combustion of bioethanol

As can be deduced from the chemical reaction when burning bioethanol: C2H5OH+3O2 ®2CO2+3H2O, only CO2 and water vapor are released. The vapor that is released is a harmless mixture of water vapor and CO2, this is equal to that of humans and animals when breathing out. The oxygen consumption during combustion is comparable to burning a number of candles. For this reason, some form of ventilation is desirable, for houses built in the last 10 years this is provided by the standard mechanical air circulation system. In older houses, without an air circulation system, you have to regulate this yourself. This can be done by opening a window ajar, etc. When burning Kieselgreen Bio-ethanol from movingfire, a beautiful flame emerges, calm and predictable, without smoke, soot, sparks and the annoying ash. There is no need for a smoke channel, this can be closed.

Bioethanolshop production label

The Bioethanolshop label guarantees that the bioethanol is ethically, organically and fair trade produced and sourced. The ethanol is produced from European rye fields and made into bioethanol in a modern, well-developed factory. Kieselgreen Bioethanol is an Organic product and is made from natural products such as cane and beet sugar, potatoes, corn, grain,... etc. Another word for pure Bio ethanol is denatured alcohol. The scientific notation for ethanol is C2H6O.

Tip

Only pure organic ethanol with a complete combustion guarantees the benefits, we recommend using our Bio ethanol. Our Bio ethanol is recommended for all types of ambient fireplaces where the use of Bio ethanol is prescribed. From experience we know that our Bio ethanol in combination with our fireplaces is optimal. Important to know: during the burning of the fireplace, 2/3 of the heat disappears through the flue. Therefore, if this channel is closed, the heating capacity increases 3 times.

Testing of Kieselgreen bioethanol

Kieselgreen's bioethanol is tested by the German TüV and certified in accordance with ISO 9001.
